Inspired by creeping phlox—Mother Nature’s own blanket—the collection captures the essence, ease, and beauty of the natural world through thoughtful pattern and form. With these values at its core, Phlox brings a polished but relaxed attitude to modern bedding.

Our Story

Our Story

Founded by New York City based Brooks Huston, Phlox Linens was born out of his own search for stylish printed bed linens that lead to little beyond florals and children's themes. While we love these both, Brooks saw an opportunity to develop a new collection of patterns and colors that offered more options and better suited a broader range of tastes and lifestyles. After several years in development, and building an enormously talented team of design and production partners, Brooks was proud to launch Phlox in the Spring of 2025

Why Percale

300 thread-count (TC) percale represents cotton at its best. The classic one-over, one-under crisscross pattern, with 300 threads per square inch, allows for both optimal ventilation and moisture wicking. This combination yields a crisp, cool finish that is not only breathable but also highly durable.

With lower thread-counts becoming too thin and brittle, and higher counts becoming too dense we’ve chosen 300 TC as the sweet spot, with just the right balance of weight and airiness allowing for the release of trapped heat.

The tight grid construction of percale is also prized for its durability with resistance to pilling and tearing. You can rest assured in the resiliency of your Phlox Linens against years of washing and wear, and look forward to increased softness and relaxing of fibers with each laundry cycle.

Last, but not least, the 100% GOTS certified cotton is natural and hypoallergenic making the sheets ideal for sensitive skin.

Care Instructions

For best results we recommend a gentle wash cycle with cold or warm water. Eco-friendly detergents, used sparingly, are always best and avoid pouring the product directly on to the sheets to prevent residue or fading.

Line dry for the ultimate crisp feel or tumble dry on low heat after washing. Skip the fabric softener to maintain the material’s integrity.

Less is More

Phlox Linens are fabricated in small batch orders to both promote responsible growth and avoid fabric waste. This approach also supports more sustainable, localized supply chains compared to traditional mass manufacturing.

In the spirt of traditional American entrepreneurship, we are proud to be a small, family-owned business free of corporate influence and expectations.
